Andrew Horn
Partner
Palmor Capital is led by Andrew Horn who was most recently an investment manager at Cohen Private Ventures (“CPV”), the family office and private investment platform of Steven A. Cohen. During his time there, Andrew expanded its real estate private equity platform evaluating and overseeing investments across California, Texas, Virginia, and Washington. He also led its student housing operations with the management of 900-beds.

Prior to CPV, Andrew was a vice president at Cain International where he was a member of the investment team responsible for deploying more than $300m of equity and overseeing execution of business plans, leasing, and sales across six development projects. Andrew began his career at Hanover Street Capital, a dedicated asset management platform for Deutsche Bank.

Andrew holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Colgate University and is actively involved with the UJA Federation of New York, serving as a board member of the Global Safety Net Committee and as a member of the Real Estate Executive Committee.
Mathias Salmon
Associate
Mathias Salmon is an Associate at Palmor Capital, where he is responsible for sourcing, underwriting, and managing real estate acquisitions on behalf of the firm. Mathias plays an integral role in evaluating investment opportunities and executing transactions that align with Palmor Capital’s strategic objectives.

Prior to joining Palmor, Mathias was an Analyst at TPG Real Estate, a real estate credit platform focused on lending across multifamily, student housing, senior housing, and industrial assets across the United States.​​
​
Mathias graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a dual major in Economics and History and a cross minor, from the Wharton School, in Real Estate and Urban Studies. He grew up in New York City and is active in Type 1 Diabetes advocacy.
